The biggest feature of Aadhaar card is that most changes or updates related to it can be obtained from the UIDAI website. You can even take a digital print out of it by visiting the UIDAI website. Also, you do not need any kind of payment for this. All you will need is the 12 digit UID number given in your Aadhaar.
How to Download Aadhar Card
- To get a digital copy of Aadhaar card go to UIDAI website and put your Aadhaar number in the option given at the top there. Apart from this, here you also have to enter your full name which is written in the Aadhaar card.
- – Then type the email ID or phone number. Keep in mind that all the details given here should be the same as the details given in the Aadhaar card. If it is different then Aadhaar will not open.
- – After filling the details, type the characters given in the image and then click for OTP. This OTP will be sent to the number you have written in the Aadhaar card. By clicking on Verify OTP, you will get your Aadhaar number via SMS or email.
- After getting the Aadhaar number, the UID number, go to the e-Aadhaar page on the UIDAI website. Where you will be asked for some detail. After filling them, click on OTP. On receiving the OTP, type it and click on Validate & Download given there. Now your Aadhaar card PDF file will be downloaded and you can take a print out of it.
